Following Gary Caldwell's red card towards the end of Saturday's match at Wycombe Wanderers, EFL regulations prevent him from partaking in post-match media duties.
Kevin Nicholson has given his thoughts following Exeter City's cruel 2-1 defeat at Wycombe Wanderers on New Year's Day, ruing key officiating decisions.
After a late penalty in stoppage time given for handball against Ed Francis, Nicholson felt the Grecians did not get the rub of the green against the table-toppers, with City cruelly denied a point from Tristan Crama's 86th minute header.
"That frustration is understandable given how well we played and how much that has hurt us. For the penalty, it's hit his hand six inches away and he's trying to get it out of the way. It was in a natural position, so to be given in those circumstances, it doesn't feel right.
"And I'm struggling to understand how our goal was disallowed in the first half. They've said it's for a foul by our no.2, but our no.2 is being pushed away by their player and everyone misses it.
"I hate excuses and I hate this tone in post match things like this, but we feel really let down today."
