After scoring an absolute worldie to win City all three points against Burton Albion, Millenic Alli shared his thoughts.
The Grecians went 1-0 down early on but drew level with Josh Magennis' header on the stroke of half-time, before Milli produced a moment of brilliance to send a rocket into the top corner from the edge of the box and win the game.
"I received the ball, I just went for the one-v-one and the opportunity arose and I took it, I shot and it's dipped and it's gone in," said Milli, recalling the goal.
This was the first time this season the Grecians have come from behind to win in the league, something that City's number 11 and his teammates have taken great pride in.
"We just had to keep patient, we kept the ball well in their final third and kept creating chances, we just had to believe that the chances were going to come.
"We had to keep faith and take the chances when they came and sometimes you need a bit of individual brilliance."
