It was anticipated that the road would be re-open by this point however the closure and related diversions are still in place. Please ensure you allow additional time to travel to the stadium today as traffic around St James Park is likely to be busier than normal.
The Pitch covers have been on overnight as a precaution and the pitch has not frozen with temperatures reaching 4 degrees and climbing..
