Exeter City Women can confirm the departure of Courtney Jones.
The defender departed the Grecians after making her final appearance in the league victory over Lewes on December 15th.
After signing for City in the summer, Jones made 16 appearances. The combative central defender started four of those games, with the last of those coming in the 6-1 away victory at MK Dons back in November.
On Jones’ departure, Manager Abbie Britton said: “We are sad to see Courtney go. She has been a fantastic personality to have in the group and a pleasure to work with.
"Unfortunately, we just haven’t been able to provide enough game time for her and I fully understand her wish to seek regular football elsewhere. We wish her all the best and thank her for her efforts in red and white.”
