Award-winning IT support services provider, Optimising IT has extended its commitment to Exeter City Football Club – and it promises it’s backing the club for the long haul!

The business, which began sponsorship of the Adam Stansfield Stand following the opening of its Exeter office last year, has extended its agreement with the club by a further two years, taking its support to 2029.

Optimising IT was established in 2013 and achieved its official B Corp certification in March 2023 — a testament to its ongoing success and its investment in both people and the planet with its forward-thinking IT services. It employs over 30 staff. 

Matthew Dawes, commercial manager at Exeter City Football Club, said: “We’re delighted that Optimising IT has made this commitment to Exeter City. They have been a fantastic partner during this first year of sponsorship and we’re excited about working with them going forward.”

Managing Director of Optimising IT, Todd Gifford said: “We’re really pleased to reaffirm our commitment to Exeter City through this extension of our sponsorship contract. The first year of working with the club has been great for us and we’re pleased to be able to support the club for the long term.”

And the sponsorship has benefited the company with an increase in business since taking it began sponsoring the stand.

Todd said: “We have grown so much since the stand signs went up that we have had to move office three times, and we are building on our reputation and market awareness through working with Exeter City. This is by far and away the best thing we have ever done as a business - putting down roots - we’re here for the long haul.”
