Midfielder Reece Cole has given his thoughts ahead of Charlton Athletic's visit to St James Park on Saturday.
Cole returned from a six week injury absence a fortnight ago, and has since made appearances in three matches in which the Grecians have picked up two wins in two cup matches.
"Hopefully I can push on now and try and get into the starting eleven. Charlton is going to be a tough game, but we're at home and I feel like I haven't really played at home this season, so it'll be great to be on front of the home fans again as they really give us a boost.
"We're not scared of any opponents, even though Charlton have had some good results. They do some things really well but we've looked at what we can capitalise on and hopefully we can do what we need to, to win."
