Ryan Woods on Huddersfield test

Ryan Woods has given his thoughts ahead of the Grecians final home game of the season against Huddersfield Town on Saturday afternoon.

City head into the game on the back of 3-1 defeat to Crawley Town on Easter Monday, but hope to put things and send the home crowd home happy, for many of whom it will be the last time watching their side this season.

"It's important that we leave a good taste in the mouth heading towards next season, and make sure we send people home happy. We have given them some good moments this season, but we'd have liked to have given them more."

"So our full focus will be on winning these last two games and going into next season and trying to achieve bigger and better things.

"Huddersfield will be a difficult one for us. They don't have a manager at the moment, and are on a poor run of form that has been a nail in their play-off push coffin, so people might say it's two teams with nothing to play for but we have our own targets, and if we win these two games we only finish three points less than last season.

"It's important we all head into pre-season in a good head space."
