Ryan Woods has given his thoughts as the Grecians prepare to face Burton Albion away from home on Saturday.
The 31-year-old has played 17 times in all competitions this season and played a pivotal role in midfield, and hopes that City can turn their difficult run of form around against a struggling Brewers outfit. Following defeat to Barnsley last week, the players had honest conversations with one another and Woods feels that it will only benefit the side going forward.
Looking ahead to the match at the Pirelli Stadium on Saturday, Woods added:
"People talk about the new manager bounce but he's been there three days and he will do very well to put his stamp on the team so soon, so we have to prepare the same way.
"There will be challenges in the game but it is full focus on us and how we impose ourselves, and how we go out there to win the game."
