All supporters are welcome to an evening with City legend Jimmy Giles in the John Lewis Trust Suite on Wednesday 16 October from 5:30pm.
Jimmy will be in conversation with Matt Riley, the author of his recently published biography.
Joining from Aldershot, Jimmy Giles made over 300 of his 500 Football League appearances whilst wearing the colours of Exeter City. Playing for the Grecians in two spells, either side of a period with the higher-placed Charlton Athletic, Jimmy was a hugely-popular figure in the years between 1971 and 1981 and was inducted into the Exeter City Hall of Fame in 2014.
Jimmy made 313 appearances for City, scoring 13 times!
The format of the evening is as follows:
5:30 - Doors open.
Warm up at the bar and tea/coffee provided by The Senior Reds in the Trust Suite. The Museum will be open.
6.30 - Kick-off.
First half reviewing Jimmy's book, with key parts being read out and chatting to Jimmy about his life
7:15 - Half-time.
A chance to rehydrate at the bar
7:30 - Second-half
Jimmy will be answering the huge amount of questions from City fans around the world
8:15 - Final whistle
Extra time at the Centre Spot bar with Jimmy
