City stopper Shaun MacDonald has sat down to share his thoughts on tomorrow evening's fixture against Spurs under-21.

Currently backing up Joe Whitworth in league matches, Shaun played his first 90 minutes of the season in the win against Swindon a few weeks ago in the Bristol Street Motors Trophy

"We'll be looking to better that tomorrow night (the Swindon result), Tottenham have got a good batch of young players coming through, there are quite a few in the England youth set up so it will be a good test.

"It's a chance for the young lads to show what they can do but also for us lads who want to get in the league side on a Saturday to stamp our authority as well."

This summer has given Shaun a chance to get to know the two new keepers in the club's first team union, with Joe Whitworth and Frankie Phillips coming into the squad.

"Obviously we've got Joe and Frankie, I was with Harry last year, it's a younger group again. They're all good lads, they all work hard and we all get on."

"We just need to get Frankie to stop losing the head tennis!"
