Eight corporate Trust teams contested the fourth annual tournament at the Cliff Hill Training Ground on Sunday 23rd June.
The teams from Pipers' Farm, HEL, Tamar Security, MSL, Arque, Taylor Lewis, Focus Group and the Regional Talent Centre (RTC) all played each other in a full morning's football, culminating in a knockout round with the first and second competing to be 'Champions League' winners, the third and fourth vying to win the 'Europa League'.
The results were:
- Champions League Final: Exeter RTC beat Taylor Lewis on penalties
- Europa League Final: Focus Group beat Arque
Special mentions for goal of the day go to Pipers Farm and the goal celebration of the day to Simon Lane of HEL Performance.
Thank you to all the players who are to be congratulated on their enthusiasm, endeavour an skill, it was great to see football being played for sheer enjoyment.
