Three Exeter City players will be in action this week as the first round of international action of the season kicks off. 

Ilmari Niskanen has once again been called up to the Finland team for the Nations League campaign, which begins away to Greece on Saturday 7 September. Imi and the Huuhkajat will also be heading to Wembley to take on England in Lee Carsley’s first game in interim charge.

Northern Ireland’s Nations League begins on Thursday 5 September, when they face Luxembourg at Windsor Park before travelling to Bulgaria on Sunday, with Josh Magennis named in the squad looking to edge closer to his target of 100 national team appearances. 

Deadline Day signing Pat Jones is travelling to Iceland with Wales U21s for their U21 Euro Qualification match on Tuesday 10 September.
