As the ink was still drying on Tristan Crama’s season-long loan move to Exeter City, the centre-back took a moment to discuss his thoughts about joining the Grecians.
This marks the Frenchman’s second consecutive season at League One level after spending last year at Bristol Rovers, a stint he believes will serve him well.
Tristan’s arrival adds to City’s growing international contingent, and he arrives with experience playing on the continent at AS Béziers in the south of France. The defender then moved from there to Brentford in 2020.
“I come from France and moved early to Brentford.
“It was difficult for the first few years because I couldn’t speak any English but I’ve had four good seasons in England so it’s been really good since joining Brentford.”
While donning Rovers’ blue and white quarters, Tristan faced City twice last season. Now, he’s eager to step onto the St James Park pitch, but this time with the fans behind him.
“The fans have been really good, I really enjoyed the game between the clubs last season. I was playing for Bristol, but I can say now the fans from Exeter are really good.”
