Exeter City AFC Limited are seeking to recruit Bar Staff who are passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and are positive, friendly and dynamic individuals.

We are a supporter owned professional football club currently competing in League One of the EFL. As a supporter owned club through the Exeter City Supporters' Trust and under Trust ownership Exeter City has gone from strength to strength.  The Company has agreed a strategic plan which has as its objective a vision of being a sustainable member of League One.  The strategy to deliver this vision is based on three operational pillars:

  • Player development building on a very successful youth Academy
  • Increased matchday attendance and commercial revenues
  • Operational efficiency

Working as part of our Bar Team you will report to our Food and Beverage Manager and be responsible for serving a range of beverages and handling cash and card payments.  You will take pride in your work ensuring the highest standard of cleanliness at all times and ensure all Health and Safety regulations are adhered to.

Candidates will need to be able to work effectively in a team but also capable of using your own initiative. You will need to be calm and capable of working under pressure and have excellent communication skills to ensure effective communication with colleagues and customers.

A good level of physical fitness/mobility is required as the role involves long periods of standing, lifting stock and often you will be working within a fast-paced environment.

A professional appearance is essential ensuring care and attention of personal presentation as you will be representing the Club. 

Candidates must have good numeracy and literacy skills and preferably have previous bar experience; however full training will be provided.

Hours will primarily be Saturdays and Tuesday evenings but will vary based on home fixtures.  There may be extra hours available throughout the year when hosting conferencing and events.  Hours may fit around other commitments offering flexibility and making this role a fantastic opportunity.
