City Women will take on Plymouth Argyle at Coach Road on Wednesday in the inaugural Devon FA Women's Challenge Cup Final.
Following a restructure of the Devon FA's cup competitions in the summer, a new cup was made for women's clubs who compete in the fourth tier or above. With just City and Argyle in that bracket in the county, both teams automatically qualified for the final.
The Grecians have already notched a hat-trick of wins against their rivals in the league and FA Cup this season, with the most recent win coming just a few weeks ago in the league at Coach Road as Sophie Gillies' goal was the only difference between the sides.
This match will be an opportunity for Abbie Britton's side to retain a county cup for the third season running, having beaten Argyle in the event both in 2023 and 2024.

This match is ran by the Devon FA, so tickets can only be purchased directly from them. Tickets will be available on the door.

The Opposition
James Bradley brings his Plymouth Argyle side to Coach Road on Wednesday evening for the fourth and final Devon Derby this season.
Bradley took over from the departed Ryan Perks at the end of February and will be keen to revive the initial good run of form from when he took over. A home win over Lewes (2-1) was followed by an impressive late win at AFC Wimbledon (2-1), and a 2-2 draw with Billericay before the Greens lost to City. Since then two more defeats have followed away at Ipswich Town and Watford, but the Pilgrims have two more crucial league games against AFC Wimbledon and Gwalia to finish the season as they try and retain their tier three status.
Plymouth have a number of experienced players to call in on the run in, as Caitlin Smith, Georgia Wilson and Ava Kuyken all have experience of playing in the Championship whilst Argyle regulars Immy Crawford, Panagiota Papaioannou, and Charlotte Whitmore all have experience of successfully negotiating tight relegation battles.
Previous Encounter
City faced their rivals from down the A38 just a couple of weeks ago in the league, with a Sophie Gillies strike 10 minutes from time the difference between the sides ⬇️
