Work begins to install Fan Zone Canopy

Fan Zone

Work has now begun to install the canopy which will cover the Fan Zone and we anticipate it will be completed in the next few weeks.

The project is possible due to the fantastic financial support of so many people as part of the fundraising campaign earlier this year. Once installed it will help supporters enjoy the area during the winter months – whatever the weather! The works are due to be completed by the end of November and we hope that supporters will feel the full benefit by the Wycombe Wanderers fixture on December 3. Surfacing works to the area and further improvements will follow once the canopy installation is complete.

New benches, including the wheelchair accessible ones have kindly been funded by various supporter groups. They will be distributed around the area once works are complete and we thank supporters for their patience and understanding during the interim period whilst the canopy is being installed.

As part of the changes with the installation of the canopy and the car park-controlled access barrier, supporters are requested to park in Stadium Way entrance for any visits to St James Park on non-match days. Parking here will be limited to 30 minutes to allow supporters to visit the club shop or for any retail or ticketing requirements.

Thank you to everyone who has supported this project which will have a positive impact and create an even better match day experience for all.
