Welsh attacking midfielder Joel Colwill joined the Grecians on loan from Championship side Cardiff City until the end of the 24/25 season.

The 20-year-old signed for the Grecians following his recall from League Two side Cheltenham Town, where he scored nine goals in 28 appearances for the Robins, as well as providing three assists.

A product of the Bluebirds academy, Colwill made his first team debut for the South Wales side in August 2023, before signing a five-year contract with the club. Colwill is also a capped Wales international having played at U16, U18, U19 and U21 level - making his under-21 debut alongside brother Ruben in a 4-0 win over Liechtenstein in September 2023.
