Max Edgecombe put pen to paper on his professional contract in March 2023

18-year-old Edgecombe, whose favoured position is on the left side of defence, joins Pedro Borges and Ed James in signing pro deals in March as the club makes a commitment to several youngsters. 

"This is a really proud moment for me and my family and I'm really pleased," Max said.

"Every coach has had a massive part in my journey so far, and my development, having been here since I was 8. There is so much they haven helped me with, not just becoming a better player on the pitch but a better person as well."
