Following the success of Kit Out the Cliff and Fan Zone canopy fundraiser, we hope to continue to improve facilities for our first team squad, the Academy and Women's team with a Recovery Room at the Cliff Hill Training Ground.
This will be a purpose-built unit equipped with hot tubs and ice baths designed to speed players' recovery after matches - especially important when we play two matches in a week – and to aid rehabilitation after injury.
The provisional target is £49,000, though we are aware, as with most current building projects that costs may rise before completion.
However, the good news is that we can add a £5000 donation from the City Foundation to increase our current total to £9,000. Thanks to all the City Foundation members, and if you're not a member you can find out more by clicking here.
To celebrate the purchase of the Training Ground by the Supporters' Trust we have created a new badge.
The text says: '2003 I own my Football Club, 2024 and the Training Ground.'
The badge is on sale from the club shop and FECRACE bar from 10 August and costs just £4. All proceeds go to the Recovery Room.
We have a history of successful fundraising together and now we only have £40,000 to go! Can you help us get closer to our target?
