Exeter City are delighted to announce the signing of versatile attacker Andrew Oluwabori from National League side FC Halifax Town on a two and a half year contract.
The 23-year-old is the second time the Grecians have done business with the Shaymen following the transfer of Millenic Alli last January.
Oluwabori has scored six goals in 27 appearances for the West Yorkshire side in the fifth tier this season, including two in his final two starts for the side against Gateshead and Solihull Moors.
A forward who can play across a front three, Oluwabori began his career with the Huddersfield Town youth academy, but joined Peterborough United in 2021 following a trial. He played primarily for the Posh under-21s, before being loaned out to Borehamwood and Kettering Town of the National League North in August 2022. He scored four in ten for the Poppies and was then loaned to Yeovil Town for the remainder of the 2022/23 season, scoring twice in 25 appearances.
Manager Gary Caldwell said:
“He is someone who is really exciting as a young player with potential, that has pace and power, and he has scored goals at National League level. We believe with the right coaching he can be as good, if not better, than what Milli was for us.”
