Tickets are now available for Exeter City under-17s match against Plymouth Argyle at Home Park on Wednesday 16th October, with a 7pm kick-off.
This match is City’s second group stage fixture in the Professional Development League Cup, formerly known as the Floodlit Cup.
Tickets can be purchased through Plymouth Argyle’s ticket office, and start at £5 for adults, £3 for over 65s and under-23s, with under-18s going free alongside an adult. You can buy your tickets here.
City's first match in the group was last Wednesday against Bristol City, who were 3-1 winners against the Grecians.
Leading the team will be under-18s lead coach Nicky Ajose, who spoke about the importance of the competition: “These League Cup games are a big competition for this age group, coming second to the FA Youth Cup.
“Hopefully there will be some under-16s involved in that who will get a feel for an evening game, a game that really matters in that if you’re not winning, you’re not going to get through.
“These games recreate a version of first team pressure, and we get to see what the players’ actual levels are like in important games. I’m really looking forward to seeing how the players react to that.”
As well as Argyle and Bristol City, Cardiff City are the final club in City's group. We will confirm in due course details of the other fixtures.
