Alex Hartridge rejoins Exeter City on loan!

Welcome back, Alex Hartridge

We are delighted to announce that defender Alex Hartridge has returned to Exeter City on loan from Wycombe Wanderers until the end of the season, subject to EFL approval.

One of Our Own, Hartridge left the Grecians at the end of the 2023-24 season following the expiry of his contract and joined our fellow League One side, but he has now returned to the club as Gary Caldwell looks to bolster his defensive options for the remainder of the campaign.

The 25-year-old, who came through the City academy from the age of eight, made 154 appearances in red and white and we are excited to see him return to SJP. He is available immediately and goes straight into the squad for Saturday's trip to Stevenage.

Manager Gary Caldwell said:

"We are obviously looking for a centre-half that we need. Alex knows the club, and we know Alex, and in this situation it feels like a brilliant signing to bring him back to the club."
Gary Caldwell

"It won't take any time for him to fit in or get to know people, and that understanding will be there straight away. We know for League One he is a very good centre-half and we are looking forward to having him back."
