Kamari Doyle returns to Brighton

Midfielder Kamari Doyle has been recalled by parent club Brighton & Hove Albion after both club's agreed to end his loan with City.

19-year-old Kamari, joined City in the summer on a season-long loan, but this has been cut short after he made 24 appearances for City in all competitions, scoring four goals.

Doyle scored a memorable free-kick in City's win away at Bolton Wanderers in September and followed that up with goals against Stevenage and Shrewsbury Town in the League and against Barnet in the Emirates FA Cup.

Speaking about Kamari's departure, manager Gary Caldwell said: "Kamari is a brilliant talent and fantastic young player and came in and was on fire at the start of the season, scoring some brilliant goals.

"He has found his game time limited recently and Brighton want to make sure he gets minutes, so they felt it's in the best interests to call him back and send him out on loan again where he gets more minutes.

"He goes with our best wishes, I think he is an amazing talent. The physicality of League One is tough and if he keeps working and gets to that level I'm sure he can have an amazing career and we thank him for everything he did at the club."

Exeter City thanks Kamari for his efforts in red and white and wishes him all the best for his future career.
