30 April course for potential Futsal scholars
Football in the Community is offering all potential Futsal scholars the chance to come along to a training session at Exeter City FC on Tuesday 30 April, which will be your final chance to work with our coaches and learn more about our BTEC Futsal and Education programme.
The programme is open to all current Year 11 and 12 students age 16-19 (male and female) who wish to find out more about the course, which is a full-time, two-year Level 3 National Extended Diploma in Sport - equivalent to three A Levels.
The event will start at 4pm, with the chance to have a look around the dressing rooms and other areas of the ground, time permitting. The training session with our scholarship coaches will run from 4.30 to 5.30, following which there will be a short presentation for both students and parents, with the chance to ask questions about all aspects of the course.
The session is open to both those who have had an offer of a place from us for September (and if you haven't sent back your signed contract yet, please bring it along on the day) as well as those who might be new to the programme, so please feel free to share this invitation with anyone you think may be interested. Attendance isn't mandatory for those who have already had an offer, but is a great opportunity to play on the St James Park pitch.
Please can you ensure that on the day you have got a snack, plenty of fluids and outdoor playing kit including shin pads.
For security reasons, you will need to confirm your attendance to Catherine Fraser either by text on 07786 337433 or catherine.fraser@exetercityfc.co.uk by 6pm on Monday 29 April.
