Photos from City's victory against Stanley at the Park

A selection of photos by Cheggers and Steve Ayers from City's 2-0 triumph over Accrington Stanley at St James Park.

The Friday night fixture kicked off the weekend's football action, giving City the opportunity to get back amongst the automatic promotion spots.

The first half lacked goalmouth action, though the home crowd did raise a cheer when visiting strike James Gray cleared the frame of the goal with his shot and hit a window across the street on St James Road.

But the introduction of Jimmy Keohane in the second half proved fruitful as he rounded off a neat passing move with just over ten minutes to play.

Captain Danny Coles got off a little lightly when he turned the ball against his own crossbar - and moments later, Exeter were two goals to the good.  Jamie Cureton forced Stanley goalkeeper Paul Rachubka into an error when he received a clumsy backpass, and Keohane arrived to hammer home unchallenged.
