New online ticketing system launched!

Pick your seat online with our new ticketing service from Glitnir

We’re delighted to announce the launch of our new online ticketing system for buying seats at St James Park – which will improve the online buying experience for our supporters.

After listening to supporters’ feedback, it was apparent that the online ticketing system needed to be upgraded and we’re pleased that we have been able to deliver this – so thanks go to the Supporters’ Trust, who have funded the cost of the implementation of the new Glitnir ticketing system.  Click here for a step-by-step walkthrough about how to use it, or click here to begin buying tickets.

From Monday 8th July, tickets will be available to buy online for our two opening fixtures of the season – against Bristol Rovers on Saturday 3rd August (3pm) and against Queens Park Rangers in the Capital One Cup on Tuesday 6th August (7.45pm).

Supporters registered on the club’s database will receive a letter or an email during the coming days with their access details already created for them, following the secure transfer of their details onto the new service.  If you have not received this information directly by Thursday 11th July, please contact Reception at St James Park and we will resolve this.  The new ticketing system will allow fans to manage and update their own personal details securely.

There are a number of reasons why our new online ticketing system will help:
• Guarantee a precise seat in advance of the game
• Avoid the queues to buy tickets on the day of the game (enjoy a pre-match drink instead!)
• Buy online with confidence and security
• Options to have tickets posted (at least 3 days in advance), collected in advance, or collected on matchday
• Fully integrated into the new priority ticketing scheme for restricted availability tickets

For the Capital One Cup match against QPR, on this occasion Season Ticket holders in the Flybe Stand, Stagecoach Family Stand and designated disabled areas will not be able to purchase their own seat online.  However their seat will be reserved to buy any time until Monday 5th August, either in person at reception or by telephone (10am to 4pm, Monday to Friday by ringing 01392 411 243, option 6).  Please bear in mind that we have limited lines so we would appreciate your 
patience.

All supporters (including Season Ticket holders) in the Big Bank are able to buy their tickets for the Capital One Cup match online.

In the near future, Season Ticket holders in the Flybe, Stagecoach and designated disabled areas will also be able to purchase their own seat online for all other games not included in their Season Ticket.

Small charges will apply to buying tickets online.  There will be there will be a 35p charge per individual ticket to cover the costs of providing the full integrated ticketing system and a £1 charge per order to cover the administration, banking charges, packing, tickets, printing and resources to deliver the service; thereafter there will be a 50p charge for those wishing to have their order posted, to cover the postage costs and additional VAT.

Supporters will still be able to buy tickets throughout the season by telephone, in person at Reception or on matchday.

Tickets for the Bristol Rovers and QPR matches will be available to buy in person from Reception from Wednesday 10th July and by telephone (on the above number) from Tuesday 16th July.
