Grecians side to visit Hardenhuish Park
An Exeter City XI will travel to face Chippenham Town on Wednesday 31st July (kick-off 7.45pm).
The fixture takes place three days before the beginning of the new npower League 2 season, and the Grecians will send a representative squad to Hardenhuish Park to take on the Bluebirds.
The Wiltshire club finished 15th in the Evo-Stik Southern Premier Division in the 2012/13 campaign. They also came within a whisker of making the first round of the FA Cup – having overcome the first three rounds of qualifying, they lost out 1-0 to Gloucester in the fourth round qualifying.
City duo Jake Wannell and Jordan Tillson both went on a month-long loan to the club towards the end of February this year. The Grecians sent a representative squad to Wiltshire in the pre-season for the last campaign, which ended in an entertaining 4-3 victory for Exeter.
