Extra package available for City fans
Exeter City and our travel partners, Thomas Cook Sport, are pleased to announce that we can now offer another travel option.
There has been a general consensus that the prices are realistic and that the hotels are good and in excellent locations. However, a number of supporters would like to extend their stay beyond one week, and therefore we are pleased to now be able to offer a third travel option.
Option 1: Fly out on July 17th 2014, and return after 7 nights.
Option 2: Fly out on July 18th 2014, and return after 7 nights.
Option 3 (new): You can now choose to take the standard one week package departing on July 18th 2014, but rather than fly home on July 25th, your return flight can be extended by exactly one week, creating a two-week duration. The package cost remains exactly the same. You are completely under your own arrangements for the second week to travel and stay in Brazil where you please, at your own expense including getting back to the arrival airport for your departure back to the UK.
For supporters who have already booked our 7-night package, you are free to call Thomas Cook Sport to switch your booking to the third option if you wish.
We currently have 90 seats held travelling out on July 17th 2014 and 90 seats held travelling out on July 18th 2014. In the first week of sale, 31 supporters have booked packages, and of course in addition we will block off seats for the playing side for their allocation.
More good news is that well-known City (Exiled) supporter and Supporters’ Trust board member Neil Le Milliere has offered to coordinate single travellers so they can share a twin room and avoid the Single Room Supplement charges. If you are a single traveller and looking for a City fan to share a twin room, please contact Neil by ringing 07946 615889 or emailing neil_le_milliere@btinternet.com and he will help to coordinate your trip with a like-minded City supporter. Initially just provide him with some basic details about yourself and which trip/dates/hotel you are interested in.
If you live outside the UK and are travelling to Rio from elsewhere in the world, we hope to be able to offer information on match tickets at a later date, but for the moment we are concentrating our efforts on the Official Tour Group.
