Get bidding on signed, embroidered, match-worn shirts
Exeter City Supporters’ Trust are auctioning off signed match-worn Exeter City shirts via eBay, in order to raise money for the ‘Light Up the Park’ initiative.
The objective of Light Up the Park is to raise the funds to fund the floodlight upgrades at St James Park that are required according to new Football Association and Football League regulations. Already the Trust has run a bucket collection during their 10th Anniversary celebration weekend to kick-start the campaign.
Also on the celebration weekend, City players wore specially-embroidered match shirts which had a commemorative ’10 Years Owning Our Club’ logo stitched into the front. Rather than being brand new shirts, these are actually items that have been worn several time by each player – and now have been signed specially, and put to auction.
A majority of shirts are currently open for bidding, with a few being held back to be released at a later date.
They’re a fantastic commemorative item to salute the football club and the Supporters’ Trust, and would make an idea gift for a fellow City fan this Christmas. Auctions are due to close over a staggered period on Sunday 24th November, so be sure to keep tabs on the ones you want.
