Kit launch 2014/15: Flybe extend shirt sponsorship with the Grecians

Leading regional airline extends shirt sponsorship with Grecians into 12th consecutive year

We can today reveal the new home and away kits that will be worn by the Exeter City squad for the 2014/15 season.

Once again crafted by Joma, City’s new home strip will be a fresh take on the classic red and white stripes.  Meanwhile the away strip will be a black shirt with orange trim.

And we’re delighted that Flybe, Europe’s largest regional airline, has extended its long-established shirt sponsorship partnership with Exeter City Football Club for a 12th consecutive year, which – on the eve of the Club flying off to Brazil for an historic centenary tour – itself is close to making history as one of the longest standing corporate sponsorship for a current Football League Club.

The deal highlights further the airline’s commitment to support and contribute to the communities which its serves and its underlying loyalty to Exeter City and its fans.

Martin Smith, Flybe’s Director of Marketing, comments: “We’re delighted to be extending our shirt sponsorship of the club for the upcoming 2014/15 season.  Grecians’ supporters have been extremely supportive of Flybe over the years and we are proud to have the opportunity to continue our special relationship with the Club and its fans.”

Chief Executive of Exeter City FC, Guy Wolfenden, said: “We are absolutely thrilled to have the backing of Flybe again this season.  This is now one of the longest standing corporate sponsorship for a current Football League Club.

“Exeter City has been focusing on developing youngsters from the community and nurturing them to become great footballers.  Last season saw many of these players making their debut for the First Team and we are excited to see many others coming through the Academy this year.

“I would like to thank Flybe for its continued support – we couldn’t compete at this level or offer the Training Academy that we have without the backing of corporate partners like Flybe.”

Martin Smith added: “We look forward to our continued partnership and, on behalf of everyone at Flybe, I would like to wish the Club every success for the coming season and, of course, for their very special match against Brazil!”

City will also continue to use the yellow and blue third strip for the forthcoming season.

More photographs and detail of the new kits will be revealed on our Facebook and Twitter pages throughout the day.

The new home and away kits will be available to buy from the club shop at St James Park from Saturday 2nd August, the date of the home friendly fixture against Torquay United.
