Grecians manager hands out praise to travelling City supporters
Exeter City manager Paul Tisdale doffed his cap to the hardy souls that made the transatlantic trip of a lifetime to see their team play in the centenary tour of Brazil.City regularly draw plaudits from host clubs in England for their commitment and dedication to following their club.
And Tis feels that the club is ‘lucky’ to have such a devoted core of supporters, who have represented the club immaculately in South America.
“As always, the fans have been totally committed and totally loyal – they have entered into the spirit of it,” said Paul.
“They have been appropriately fun-loving and enjoying the experience as much as they been supporting the team.
“They have got the balance right and we’re very grateful and we’re lucky to have such a loyal band.”
