Alex Nicholls returns to Exeter City on loan

Grecians re-sign forward from Northampton

Exeter City have re-signed Alex Nicholls on loan from parent club Northampton Town until January.

The 26-year-old forward spent five weeks with the Grecians earlier this season, in which he played six times.

During that time he netted the match-winner in a come-from-behind victory at Cambridge United, as well as winning penalties at home against Oxford United and away at Dagenham & Redbridge,

His initial one-month loan with Exeter was extended, but he was then recalled by the Cobblers at the start of October.  He made a further nine appearances for Northampton after returning to Sixfields.

Alex will once again wear the number 23 shirt for City.
