Midfielder arrives back at the Park in time for Oxford clash
Former Grecian midfielder David Noble has rejoined Exeter City on a loan deal from Oldham Athletic. The 32-year-old previously spent two years at St James Park between 2010 and 2012, and captained the side during that time.
Noble famously scored a match-winning free-kick for City against Sheffield Wednesday in 2012 at the Park, as well as netting important goals against Walsall and Sheffield United. Since leaving the Grecians, he has lined up against Exeter on three occasions, pulling the strings in the centre of the pitch for Rotherham and Cheltenham.
The midfielder will be eligible for selection for the Grecians’ game against Oxford United tomorrow (Saturday 13th September, kick-off 3pm) at St James Park. Noble will wear the squad number 19.
