Striker to remain at the Park
Grecians manager Paul Tisdale has confirmed that striker Clinton Morrison will remain an Exeter City player for the 2014/15 season. The ex-Crystal Palace and Birmingham City forward first moved to St James Park on non-contract terms at the end of November, and made his debut shortly after from the bench against Burton Albion. He has featured six times in City colours to date.
And manager Paul Tisdale has now affirmed that Morrison will see out the campaign with the Grecians.
“Clinton will stay with us until the end of the season,” Paul said. “It’s another player who is adding competition for places and I think he has done very well and hopefully he will continue to add for the rest of the season.
“He is a good player, and he will add value with his game and add value to aspiring young centre-forwards also.
“Most importantly I sign players with the view of someone that can play in the team. Whether they do or not is down to selection, but they are signed to play and be selected.”
