High-profile guests to visit historic friendly
Exeter City are delighted to have the opportunity to welcome two high profile diplomats from the Embassy of Brazil to the United Kingdom to our forthcoming friendly fixture against Fluminense U19 on Monday 20th July.The game, which marks 101 years of history between Exeter City and Brazil, will be the first time a Fluminense side has played at St James Park.
Secretary Flavio Luís Pazeto, whose role is Head of the Ambassador’s Office, will be joined by Counsellor Liliam Beatris Chagas, who is 2016 Olympic Games & Head of the Commercial Section.
It is our distinct pleasure to be able to welcome two such high-profile guests to the fixture, and we look forward to their presence.
In particular, it demonstrates the gravitas which the game is generating, as does the growing attention from international media.
