The Great Exeter City Quiz returns in early March and Andy Gillard is looking to for teams to compete in Norman Warne’s uniquely different and therefore extremely popular quiz, which first ran a decade ago!There are two qualifying heats which your team can enter, on Wednesday 4th March and Thursday 5th March, with lucky losers qualifying for the repechage on Thursday 19th March for a second chance to join the automatic qualifiers from the heats in the Final on Thursday 26th March and to see who succeed, Cowshed Bog, pictured after their victory in October 2013.
In their hands are Flybe flight vouchers which will once again be the top prize this year, courtesy of our generous main sponsor, Flybe, who have supported the quiz since it began.
Your team will compete against other teams in the room in mini matches with the league table updating after each game so you can chart your progress! Questions are topical and each night will test your knowledge on a range of subjects such as current news, sport, entertainment and also the fiendish topic that is local knowledge (how well do you know Exeter for example?!)
It’s a club fundraiser and entry is, as in previous years, £25 per team as we try to raise funds for Tis and the team!
