AFTER BEGINNING OCTOBER with a draw against Newport County AFC and a narrow defeat in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy at the hands of West Country rivals Plymouth Argyle, City returned to St James Park with a pulsating 3-3 draw against Stevenage in front of the television cameras.The Grecians ended the month by taking four points from their next four league matches as a 1-0 victory over Cambridge United and a 1-1 draw with Notts County were sandwiched in-between defeats at Carlisle United and Barnet.
