It has been confirmed that Exeter City will face Chelsea under-21s and Yeovil Town at home and Plymouth Argyle away in the Checkatrade Trophy following yesterday’s draw.
City recorded a 3-2 victory over Chelsea when they faced the Blues at home in the competition last season and have fond memories of a Football League Trophy to Plymouth, in 2010, when a late goal from Daniel Nardiello sealed a 2-1 victory.
City also recorded a 3-1 when they last played Yeovil Town in the Football League Trophy. Jamie Cureton netted twice and Ryan Harley once.
The dates and kick-off times for all the above fixture have not yet been finalized.
