After much anticipation and build-up, the EFL fixtures have finally been revealed, with Exeter City’s EFL Sky Bet League 2 campaign kicking off with the visit of Cambridge United.
Grecians manager Paul Tisdale begins his twelfth campaign with City on Saturday, August 5 against a Cambridge side that narrowly missed out on the play-offs last season.
The opening weekend is followed in quick succession by the first round of the Carabao Cup in the week commencing June 7. The Grecians will take on Charlton Athletic at SJP with the date to be confirmed after the TV matches have been announced.
City’s first away match of the campaign comes on the following Saturday (August 12) as we take the short trip to square up against recently relegated Swindon Town.
