Exeter City midfielder Hiram Boateng says the players are feeling strong going into the match with Lincoln City on Good Friday but are not getting ahead of themselves following back-to-back wins.
The Grecians beat Port Vale and Swindon Town in their last two matches to move up to fifth in the table – four points off third-placed Wycombe with a game in hand over the Chairboys.
“I think the lads take a lot of confidence from the Swindon game, but we know not to get too excited or big-headed about it because there is still so much work to do,” said Hiram. “However, I feel we have definitely put ourselves in a good position from the past two games and getting those two wins. Hopefully, we can continue that.”
Lincoln City also go into the match in good form though having won two and drawn two of their last four matches. It is a run that has put them two points outside the play-off places.
So, therefore, is all set up for an attacking game on Friday?
“I think we have different game plans going into each game and it will definitely be an exciting one to watch,” said Hiram. "It is important to take each game as it comes and try and knock each game off one at a time"
“You don’t have to think too far ahead. We have got the majority of the squad fit. There are a few injuries, obviously, but we have got a lot of players fit still and that is very important for us right now.”
