Exeter City Ladies have strengthened their squad this week with the signing of Becca Wakley.
Becca joins the Grecians from Plymouth Argyle Ladies as they continue their promotion push from the South West Women’s Football League Premier Division.
City currently sit second in the table, seven points behind leaders Keynsham Town Development but with two games in hand on the table toppers.
Becca said she agreed to make the switch to City because of the club's ambition and togetherness.
"I am happy to join Exeter because of the footballing ethos and the ambition of the club," she said. "That was a big pull in me joining as well as the emphasis on team spirit and togetherness. It is something I am really looking forward to being a part of."
Speaking about the new signing joint-manager Clive Watts said: "Becca is a strong, versatile defender who brings a wealth of experience to our squad, having previously played Plymouth, Yeovil and Torquay.
“She is a great addition to our young squad in our push for promotion during the second half of the season.”
