City winger Joel Randall is preparing for only his second FA Cup appearance and hopes he can be part of the side that takes the Grecians to round three of the competition when they take on Gillingham this weekend.
Speaking ahead of the trip to Kent, the 21 year-old is expecting a tough tie.
"They are one league higher than us so that is something we have to be aware of," he said.
"But after Tuesday's win we've been on a good run of form recently. I think we go there in high spirits and the team are confident. Hopefully we can get through to the next round.
"The fact that the big boys enter in the third round is a great incentive for us but we have to look at Gillingham who are doing well in League One.
"It would be amazing to play against a Premier League team at their stadium but we have got a job to do on Saturday first."
