All at Exeter City and Exeter City Supporters' Trust were saddened to hear of the passing of Maurice Wright at the age of 83.
Maurice was part of the furniture at St James Park. He had been coming to city since he was an eight-year-old. He also held a cleaning job at St James Park and went on to work in the car park.
Maurice never missed a match at home and only stopped going away when it got too much for him.
Speaking about her Uncle, Claire Tom said: "From reading the lovely comments on the forum pages, he was obviously well thought of. Some people have some really fond memories of him. He brought me and my sister when we we younger and I now bring my son, who loves it!"
"He must be the only supporter I know that had his own song in the 90s!"
Maurice was the definition of City 'til I die.
Rest easy, Maurice
