Matt Jay highlighted the "heartbreaking" manner that Exeter City exited the FA Cup after Cambridge's late winner.
Speaking after the game the captain said:
"It's been a difficult run for us in the Cup and it's really frustrating to go out to a decision like that. Even if we had drawn the game we'd have taken that but it's really disappointing that the goal stood. It was annoying on a personal note after I hit the post in the first half but we go again on Tuesday night against Northampton."
