Matt Taylor is disappointed in the controversial manner of Exeter City's loss to Cambridge United in the Emirates FA Cup.
Speaking to BBC Radio Devon of the U's winning goal, which was initially given offside before being overruled by the referee, the manager said:
"There was an offside player affecting our back-line and goalkeeper, who the linesman gave the decision against. I've got no qualms if he's not there, but I don't think anyone knows the offside rule at the moment. The referee has complicated what I felt was a very simple situation."
On his team's performance, Taylor said there were chances City could have nicked it.
"The second half period before the goal we created a lot of chances where we needed more conviction. Even after, Podge Amond and Jevani Brown both had chances but ultimately couldn't make it happen."
