City boss Matt Taylor says his side's second half approach helped them come from 2-1 down at half time to record a 3-2 win over Bradford City.
Matt Jay's penalty secured victory for the Grecians, alongside goals from Pierce Sweeney and Ryan Bowman, but only after the Bantams went ahead first through Charles Vernam and then Olly Crankshaw.
City deserved the points after a dominant second half, and Taylor praised his team's mentality. "In the second half we were really responsible in our approach," Taylor said.
"We definitely deserved it but I find it hard to describe certain parts of that game, especially the goals.
"We have had enough experience of going behind in games and falling further behind, but we wore them down today.
"The scoreline totally reflected the result we deserved today."
