Deadline day signing Robbie Willmott has praised front man Ryan Bowman after his goal helped City secure a 3-2 win over Bradford City at SJP.
Bowman turned in Willmott's cross midway through the second half to level the game before Matt Jay's penalty and he was full of good words about his teammate.
"When I've got someone like Ryan Bowman to hit it makes my job easier," he said.
"As a wideplayer you always want to assist and score goals and that was always my aim.
"We made a couple of mistakes in the first half but the gaffer came in at half time and said he was happy with us, and carry on as we were.
"We had numerous chances today and although the final ball wasn't always great, the lads dug deep and it was a really dominant performance."
