City boss Matt Taylor says his side were guilty of a poor start as they were beaten 2-0 at home to Morecambe on Tuesday evening.
A ninth minute penalty from Adam Phillips plus a second half strike from Cole Stockton saw City suffer defeat on home turf, and the manager felt his team's first half performance was their downfall.
"We paid the price for a start that wasn't good enough," Matt said.
"We knew it would be difficult but we gave them too many ins. I was forced into changes - shape and personel - very early on.
"It was too easy for them to score the second goal."
