Lewis Page says Exeter City must start better in games after they were caught out at home to Morecambe this Tuesday evening.
"We can't start like that in games," he said after Adam Phillips and Cole Stockton's games downed the Grecians.
"We started really sloppy and we had a change of shape early on. Going 1-0 down early put us under lots of pressure and we left ourselves too open going for the equaliser.
"We were getting in the right areas but just couldn't get shots away. It just wasn't meant to be tonight."
