Matt Taylor says he was pleased with how his side performed on Tuesday night, despite being held to a 1-1 draw against Bolton Wanderers at SJP.
Having taken the lead through Ricardo Alemeida Santos' own goal, City were pegged back by Arthur Ghanoua's strike, but Taylor can take positives from the game.
"Performance wise I was quite pleased - it was a good performance - but we just didn't get the rewards tonight.
"They had a 20 minute spell in the second half when we lost control, and they changed their shape tonight and were more resolute with less space than they have been this season.
"Ryan's effort, MJ's one and Joel when he was on his way through. They may have gone in earlier in the season."
